i'm on 4th iphone , same reason, piss poor battery life. last phone got 45min. usage , 5hr. standby @ 30% battery remaining. 3 battery life once in while rarely. decided send apple time see if fix or phone different batch. loaner sent me awesome, wanted keep it. confirmed not crazy , i'm not expecting much. 1 thing 3 phones had common @ full charge @ night , dead in morning. new 1 sent me seemed one, charged when got @ around 4pm, went bed @ 11:30pm , dead in morning. when went bed battery indicator still hadn't budged full. thing have in common warm , start drain fast. of settings turned down or off. i've been reading forums time , familiar settings drain battery faster. else experiencing these issues and/or know how can fix this, because it's not phone.   no 1 elses phone gets hot times , battery drains quite quickly?   ...

sorry double post, posted in macbook forum accidentally (could mod delete one?). here's post: ok, bizarre case; i'll preface saying i've worked on over dozen g4 ibooks, including own (which works fine). here's case: working ibook when received replace optical drive. replaced optical drive, replaced no damage , parts connected correctly. after repair, ibook not book (flashing folder/question mark). booted firewire mode, g5 (diagnostic machine) wouldn't identify computer. tried booting osx install disc; 3 times apple logo shifted right , down artifacts in space moved from, 1 time crossed out circle replaced apple logo. tried booting hardware test disc different ibook, got "does not support ibook" shut down/restart menu. removed added ram , airport card; same symptoms. though didn't touch hdd cables, took apart again check cables. symptoms persist. @ now. thoughts? ideas? next step go original o...

or, atleast find weird. got brand new ipod classic 80g. plug xp pro pc open itunes 7.4.3.1. itunes asks if want register ipod, "continue" , message: "your request cannot completed. make sure computer's date set correctly , accepts cookies itunes music store....." ok. refreshed time, allowed cookies, lower privicy setting, , make sure i'm logged itunes store....still same trouble. if "register later" message , cannot see ipod's library. can add files want, itunes not show ipod library edit or apply settings. when plug ipod laptop, works (doesn't ask register though).... ideas? thanks!   oh, , yes, i've installed new ipod update. still not working properly.   Forums iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch ...

hi guys, every once in while happens, , have no clue how fixed in past. fear might have been when formatted. problem: dock hiding / unhiding keyboard shortcut, option + command + d, not working. happens: when hit key combination, dock pops momentarily goes down. if hold down key combination dock stays visible, until let go of keyboard, @ point dock hides again. attempted solutions: i've tried full power cycle. i've run cocktail try , clean out small issues system. don't know else try. had problem? know of solution?   strange issue. sure 1 of keys isn't sticking when you're pressing it? if not, try create user account, , see if problem persists.   Forums Macs Mac Basics and Help iPhone Mac OS...
