Best External HDD?

i've been , forth on debate (on forum well) many times, , don't want wait longer. need 750gb, 1tb, external drive asap. must have firewire 800, , preferrably 1tb capacity, capable of video editing , storing .mkv movie files. going western digital mybook pro fw800 guys didn't seem enthusiastic it. please, give me brand , model number , approval, , i'll it. want done debate! haha, i'm sure guys can relate me.
 

get 1 of these, , pair of 500gb seagates.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
