5400 vs 7200rpm

hi guys,

i'm new here. briefly, i'm pc user , i've been (for more 15years). i'm audio production, paying game ionce in whiel, i'm billion light years being hardcore gamer.

plan on changing computer, pc 3yo , it's time upgrade me thinks.
friend of mine bought macbook , seems cool. i'm having hard time making decision moving pc mac difficult me (also, desktop laptop not easy).

go macbook pro 15 - 2,16ghz - 2gb of ram; that's initial idea.
i'm wondering hdd. fear 5400rpm might slow. there noticeable difference between 2 (in performance/heat/...)?
have 7200rpm on such laptop?

shedding light

other comment on purchase or on ida switch pc mac welcome (but please no pro-mac , anti-billgates comments then, i'd rather read useful)

help.
cheers
f.

i'm pc user, pc ive become mac fanatic, no way ever completly stop using windows, well, vista yes, love xp (lets face there things need xp no matter mac fanboys say)

anyway

got rid of hp laptop , got macbook pro, ive used pretty everything, gaming (ut2k4 osx, age of empires ii osx) runs well, ive done video editing fcp (takes long freaking time render, whcih why still prefer sony vegas (xp only) video editing on fcs, nothing beats apple soundtrack though, awesome program, should enjoy doing sound recording, used last night, , other fact kept wanting use internal mic insted of usb soundblaster, worked nicely doing

ive been big supporter of "have 2 computers" there things need desktop for, , needs laptop, me desktop pc , mac laptop work wonderfully, of internet useage has been on laptop, , "no spyware, no viruses" thing have far ive found true, nice, planing do, think ill have vote for, "switch mac" , macbook pro

hd issue...i cant you, have 5400rpm 250gb drive, use 7200 if had in larger size, cant away 200gb

dont find speed big problem really

, ive found nothing beats handbreak dvd ripping/ipod video encoding
