my external hard drive working fine last night when watching movie on when there 10 minutes left go stopped. hard drive not appear under "my computer" more in windows xp, nor appear in disk management. when connect mac tells me disk cannot read , have several options (initialize / eject / etc.)... shows in disk utility , tells me unformatted. purchased drive genius , made duplicate copy of hard drive. whenever try open .dmg file, tells me image file failed mount because there no mountable file systems? mean? if try format in disk utility input/output error. if try format in drive genius nothing happens. when tried scan hardware problems in drive genius of blocks scanned bad blocks. options? .dmg image made usable?   mate, i'm bit lost. tell little bit more system , able you.   Forums ...

i've got 2 issues here, 1 stemming other. initially, i'm trying "smaller image" version of contact photo show when person calls, in upper right of screen instead of entire background. understanding has done assigning photos not on phone in contact manager program on computer , syncing them over. so, load itunes, , select sync windows contacts (which listed being supported iphone). gets contacts onto computer without problem. so, delete contacts on iphone, set pics within windows contacts, , resync. contacts on iphone fine. problem 1 contact had set picture on iphone, still comes full screen background. thoughts why is? problem 2 tad more confusing. person called who's photo had set through windows contacts. well, first thing happened entire backround screen corrupted. if you've ever seen old analog tvs hooked antenna when signal coming in, picture diagonal , scrolling....it took entire screen of ipod, put in effect, , ...
