Buying MacBook - To wait, or not to wait? Help!

hey guys in starting college in fall , have decided purchase macbook. looking @ mid-level 2.16 120 gb hd, etc.

fact apple pushing these out pez (free printer , free ipod nano) either mean new ipod nano version coming out (likely), or revised macbook. know apple revised macbook in may, have heard several people there new chipset or , apple going release updated version of macbook in few months. upgrade think of leopard, again mac noob.

hate buying stuff month later newer , better comes out.

question is,

recommend me purchasing now, or worth wait/are there plans new version come out relatively soon?

 

for you, college student, time buy. apple not update ipod or macbook while sale going on; use way lower inventory of older ipod models.

you're thinking of either santa rosa or penryn chipsets potential replacements current chip in macbook. macbooks won't updates until late october/november because apple doesn't refresh product line in year. notebooks see 2 updates in year, , that's it.

don't wait leopard, won't out until october. amount save getting free ipod , priner more outweighs $69(as student) you'd save waiting leopard. also, you'll need computer september , october won't you?

buy , happy it. give sometime learn things, , show off people. last bit of advice go black. looks better white model.
