I need help, running out of HD space

ok heres deal, have ibook 40gb hard drive , have 3 more gigs left of space. have 250 gig external mybook hard drive pretty empty. have 3 gigs of music on computer , no movies. dont understand why space gone. how can free hard drive space? without taking music off laptop? dont have games or huge programs on laptop aside microsoft office thats it. running 2 users on comp, switching n forth other user has nothing more me on there side. dont whats taking space. please because want free space on laptop, im starting feel might have buy new comp (which dont want do)... :confused:
 

you download whatsize , use see hd space has gone.

know example, app garageband uses quite lot of hd space , if remove it, there's option reinstall later ... pacifist or following apples advice here.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
