hello there, i'm using fcp 5.0. i've captured footage dozens , dozens or times on without issue until last night. friend of mine gave me minidv tape cut together. captured using own camera , when finished footage had unrendered 'red line' on top of it. done fcp gave me kind of warning "the audio sample rate of 1 or more of captured media files not match sample rate on source tape. may cause video , audio out of sync. make sure audio sample rate of capture preset matches sample rate of tape." when tried render it, wouldn't anything, spend less second trying render, nothing. did if when capture video without audio. if try export 'quick time movie' tells me have codec error. me happy renderd 'green line' above footage. thanks!   well fixed , heres happend seems if canon elura 65 used capture footage needs have it's firewire sett...

so today, newertech guardian maximus arrived owc. 500 gigabytes of raid1 goodness. plugged imac's fw800 port, , started copying on stuff. started off 1 gig file imac's hd maximus. , slow hell. progress bar moving, , said 10 minutes left copy. rediculous. so, decided turn off acomdata drive have plugged fw400 port. tried transfer again, , done in matter of seconds, how should be. turned acomdata on again, did copy, , slow again. rebooted in case, tried again, same thing. oh, , tried copying same file acomdata drive , slow. long both drives connected, entire firewire bus slows crawl so, decided see happen if daisy chain on fw400 port. plugged maximus acomdata's port, , acomdata plugged imac. and.....it's fine. transfer speeds little bit slower on working 800, seem normal firewire 400. while i'm glad i'm not @ parallel port speeds anymore, bought fw800 drive increased transfer speed. , need use both drives @ same time. what...

hello mac pro hard drive got laggy , crashes & takes 10 minutes load!!! worst of doesn't load @ gives me black screen errors guess sort of blue screen of death windows. anyways tried cleaning hard drive optimizing , doesn't work have 37gb available because lot of video editing. have basic set of mac pro 1gig of ram etc etc. still have warranty dont know though should send apple? dont want pay new hard drive, since still have warranty. dont think hard drive on heated because pretty cool here might wrong. have 37gb left out of 250gb. can buy mac pro hard drives? think need 750gb. anyways need kind of advice of because lot of video editing , when start video editing lately takes forever. hard drive running fine without giving kind of work, when doing multiple taks freezes. need purchase new ram guess 1 gig inst enough apple mac pro ram sooo expensive need atleast 2gb. possible hard drive started crash because have 1gb of ram , put lot of wo...
