i've been lurking number of months. i've needed mac pro past half year, kept waiting. got point couldn't wait longer pulled trigger.

mac pro 8 core refurb
5 gb ram
4x500 gb hard drives
30" acd

saved lot of money ordering refurb. i'll keep g5 dual2.0 secondary computer.

have question re: backing up. plan on keeping system , apps on 250 gb drive comes box. 3 internal 500 gb 1 external. keep video files on 1 500 gb , other files on 500 gb. these leaves remaining 2 500 gb drives backup. superduper allow me schedule backing 2 different drives?

very nice pc, considering how apple dragging out updates, if had spare cash order right well. question, have no idea :)

good evening , first post =) i'll try start out on right foot , sound half-way intelligent. acquired gimped powerbook g4 1 of our 'daughter' companies. laptop works fine when using a/c adapter. if unplug a/c adapter while power on, screen/keyboard lights go off. however, hard drive still spinning. if plug a/c adapter in, lcd backlight comes on, not display on screen. have hold power button down few seconds power down completely. upon turning on, works fine again. sound battery issue or motherboard problem? have checked battery serial number against recall list , 1 supposably good. in advance!   to me sounds hardware (or possibly software) problem. run permissions repair (using disc utility) , make sure software date (use software update check). fresh install of osx may solve too, had similar problem ibook , sorted it, may motherboard issue; if have hardware test disc, run...

okay im going lay down problem explian have tried. cool responces. problem have external program saves files path blaa/blaa/movies way in saves these movies compreses movies files 1 file in folder. eg puts different compents folder bundles them delates orginals. problem disc saving doesnt have enough room movies needs store. cant set location of store movies have try route them somewhere. first of when tried making alias folder on different disk program gave me message saying cant save file. thinking of thought make workflow gets items in folder movies them location. tested work flow , worked perfectly. problem getting automated when ever file made in directory. script came , attacheted vie folder actions doesnt work ??? wtf?? help? on adding folder items this_folder after receiving added_items tell application "macintosh hd:users:username:library:workflows:applications:folder actions:moviefile.app" open added_items end...
