Blatently LIED to at the Apple store tonight...

so check repair status page of macbook pro have had @ repair center 2 weeks. waiting on logic board. repair page says shipped apple store 10-4, , gives tracking number. when check tracking number lists macbook pro being deleiverd apple store in syracuse,ny @ 9:31am today.

decide go mall wifey , cold stone creamery goodies, , when im there around 7:45pm decide meander down apple store , laptop have been out total time of 3 weeks now.... web of lies begins.

walked in , surprisingly slow inside..very unusual actually. asked "genius" came me (also unusual have 3 employees on ever) here laptop came repair. said "genius" goes , comes 5 minutes later , remarks laptop has not come in yet , expected possibly tomorrow or monday. politely let him know checked tracking site , shows delivered store @ 9:30am morning. asked tracking number, did not ahve handy. "genius" returns , comes minute later , says "it seems macbook pro in final stages of diagnostic testing , should done shortly" takes down cell , says maybe hour if wanted walk around mall, call me when ready.

im thinking myself laptop has gone not being there , arriving tomorrow or monday, being miraculously found inside of minute , undergoing diagnostics , there....hmmmmm. decide walk around bit , play lets irritate underage punks violating mall curfew minors :) no sooner walk out of store when cell phone rings. david apple store telling me there no way machine ready tonight take couple hours run tests, , "genius" overzealous , want push things out. wtf? @ point whatever ill here tomorrow .

im no sherlock holmes here, id bet left nut never expected me looked @ tracking info , noticed delivered am. didnt want or couldnt , decided try , snowball me. thing pisses me off tried play me fool. im getting tired of level of service apple delivers, , im patient person....


thoughts?
 

i fail see wrongdoing. :confused:

...and trust me, if there's willing find flaw geniuses right now, me.

ok want macbook. im waiting couple of things. first of leapord of course. secondly when next hardware update going happen because figure must judgeing when last update was. things thats holding me getting 1 graphics card. want light video editing such capturing footage or small sd projects use imac hd , large project editing. light gaming, aoe iii, battlefield games, , wow. can wait while before end of year/ january. when guys think update happen (i know there bunch of speculation already) , if not guys think should go ahead , macbook (after leapord update of course). im not looking absolutly stellar performance in editing , gaming, have desktop that, travel , general use. dont want 1 of people goes "well whats coming should wait that" because in computers never end. im in bit of conundrum, guys think should do?   also if possible can tell me gma 950 card far how video preview works fin...

Powerbook G4 power issue

good evening , first post =) i'll try start out on right foot , sound half-way intelligent. acquired gimped powerbook g4 1 of our 'daughter' companies. laptop works fine when using a/c adapter. if unplug a/c adapter while power on, screen/keyboard lights go off. however, hard drive still spinning. if plug a/c adapter in, lcd backlight comes on, not display on screen. have hold power button down few seconds power down completely. upon turning on, works fine again. sound battery issue or motherboard problem? have checked battery serial number against recall list , 1 supposably good. in advance!   to me sounds hardware (or possibly software) problem. run permissions repair (using disc utility) , make sure software date (use software update check). fresh install of osx may solve too, had similar problem ibook , sorted it, may motherboard issue; if have hardware test disc, run...

okay im going lay down problem explian have tried. cool responces. problem have external program saves files path blaa/blaa/movies way in saves these movies compreses movies files 1 file in folder. eg puts different compents folder bundles them delates orginals. problem disc saving doesnt have enough room movies needs store. cant set location of store movies have try route them somewhere. first of when tried making alias folder on different disk program gave me message saying cant save file. thinking of thought make workflow gets items in folder movies them location. tested work flow , worked perfectly. problem getting automated when ever file made in directory. script came , attacheted vie folder actions doesnt work ??? wtf?? help? on adding folder items this_folder after receiving added_items tell application "macintosh hd:users:username:library:workflows:applications:folder actions:moviefile.app" open added_items end...
