Replacing Superdrive in 24" iMac..?

hey,

have matshita uj-85j firmware fcqa in imac. have found out drive impossible make region-free (right..?). bugs hell out of me!! have tried experiment ripping movies other regions drive set for, in both osx , windows. can't it.. if can start ripping, result garbage..

thinking.. aren't there other drives physically fit in imac, can made/are region-free? know this? better; have done this?
 

first of replacing other ram in imac extremely hard do.

suggest buying external firewire drive waht want do.

okay im going lay down problem explian have tried. cool responces. problem have external program saves files path blaa/blaa/movies way in saves these movies compreses movies files 1 file in folder. eg puts different compents folder bundles them delates orginals. problem disc saving doesnt have enough room movies needs store. cant set location of store movies have try route them somewhere. first of when tried making alias folder on different disk program gave me message saying cant save file. thinking of thought make workflow gets items in folder movies them location. tested work flow , worked perfectly. problem getting automated when ever file made in directory. script came , attacheted vie folder actions doesnt work ??? wtf?? help? on adding folder items this_folder after receiving added_items tell application "macintosh hd:users:username:library:workflows:applications:folder actions:moviefile.app" open added_items end...
