iPhoto - Original Photos

where iphoto keep original pictures? acidentally deleted pics, believe iphoto keeps copy if made edits. i'd able save copies on external drive aren't in iphoto library, i'm not sure how them. thanks!!
 

go user account pictures , ll see folder called iphoto library in folder called originals.
