Problem with Rebate for Exchanged iPhone

i bought iphone in middle of july , had been happily using it. reading through forums , noticed post titled "i've never felt iphone vibrate." thought myself haven't felt mine vibrate either. after reading post, , replies found out supposed vibrate when flipping switch on side. mine did not that.

before announced price drop went apple store see if , told me restore. went home, did restore , still didn't work. came following weekend (which happened after price drop) , told genius bar had done restore , still didn't work. guy looked on phone, did few things, , said swap out. thought great because didn't have wait couple days , without phone.

problem when tried store credit website morning said phone not eligible. :( , reading down through faq states:

"returns , exchanges
if exchanged iphone, still qualify offer?

yes, if exchanged iphone iphone on or before august 21, 2007."

how supposed know that!! had defective phone since had purchased it. if would've realized going miss out on rebate, would've waiting phone fixed.

know appropriate number call explain situation? tried calling apple's promotion rebate line, rang , rang , disconnected me.

should do!?!

call apple store , raise hell. gm on phone. if necessary @ him or her. mention incompetence computer company can't figure out how handle such plausible scenario. it's way web rebate system works, way matches serial numbers, since they've extended 14-day return window full $200 price protection refund 19th september, you're not eligible either since bought phone in july.

so, beat down gm @ local apple store if necessary. oncee or understands situation give $100 apple store gift card. have latitude , if persistent, trust me. if flat refuses, direct report's phone number @ retail region or corporate. you'll special issue $100 store credit, trust me, because intent one, it's web verification system can't match -- thinks should go $200 credit since it's exchanged phone bought in july, can't either.

gut up. backbone. iron solider it.

okay im going lay down problem explian have tried. cool responces. problem have external program saves files path blaa/blaa/movies way in saves these movies compreses movies files 1 file in folder. eg puts different compents folder bundles them delates orginals. problem disc saving doesnt have enough room movies needs store. cant set location of store movies have try route them somewhere. first of when tried making alias folder on different disk program gave me message saying cant save file. thinking of thought make workflow gets items in folder movies them location. tested work flow , worked perfectly. problem getting automated when ever file made in directory. script came , attacheted vie folder actions doesnt work ??? wtf?? help? on adding folder items this_folder after receiving added_items tell application "macintosh hd:users:username:library:workflows:applications:folder actions:moviefile.app" open added_items end...
