Glossy calibration?

amongst pain expressed glossy screens on new imac, possible calibrate glossy screen decent colours? i'm photographer , have been waiting couple of months new imacs knew coming, , they're glossy! i've been apple store , good, colours appalling - oversaturated, contrasty, terrible! great happy snappers, no use photographer needing @ least vaguely accurate idea of photos like. looked @ own website make sure looking @ pictures know, , barely recognised them!

reflections won't problem me way office set up, possible glossy screen calibrated give acceptable results? way of turning down saturation , contrast? or should rush out , buy discounted previous generation imac while still have chance?

if care colors perhaps should mac mini , high end display made graphics/photo work instead.

yeah, should able calibrate more accurate colors. both old , new imacs carries consumer displays. pretty nice consumer displays though.
