Damaged my iPhone but Apple came through

just thought share experience, incase of have go through unfortunate experience of damaging phone.

out bike riding , phone fell out of pocket. fell in worst possible way, glass hitting curb , cracked, surprised didn't shatter. phone worked fine, cracks on screen. brought apple, think guys @ genius bar more upset was. took down info, switched sim card loaner phone , took care of shipping of damaged phone. in 1/2 hour on way. 3 days later, had brand new phone sent apt. didn't bother repairing screen, sent me new phone. aside $30 loaner charge didn't cost me penny. surprised, said on damage report, customer negligence or effect , there still no charge, stated "responsibility of applecare.

not imagine getting type of service other cell phone brand. nice work apple!

oh if wondering loaner functional 8gb iphone, difference had "applecare service" engraved on back.
 

sounds got lucky! apple wants make sure spends $600 on phone happy! can't imagine them doing kind of "drop , replace it" thing longer though.

good evening , first post =) i'll try start out on right foot , sound half-way intelligent. acquired gimped powerbook g4 1 of our 'daughter' companies. laptop works fine when using a/c adapter. if unplug a/c adapter while power on, screen/keyboard lights go off. however, hard drive still spinning. if plug a/c adapter in, lcd backlight comes on, not display on screen. have hold power button down few seconds power down completely. upon turning on, works fine again. sound battery issue or motherboard problem? have checked battery serial number against recall list , 1 supposably good. in advance!   to me sounds hardware (or possibly software) problem. run permissions repair (using disc utility) , make sure software date (use software update check). fresh install of osx may solve too, had similar problem ibook , sorted it, may motherboard issue; if have hardware test disc, run...

MacBook hang up PLEASE HELP!

ok want macbook. im waiting couple of things. first of leapord of course. secondly when next hardware update going happen because figure must judgeing when last update was. things thats holding me getting 1 graphics card. want light video editing such capturing footage or small sd projects use imac hd , large project editing. light gaming, aoe iii, battlefield games, , wow. can wait while before end of year/ january. when guys think update happen (i know there bunch of speculation already) , if not guys think should go ahead , macbook (after leapord update of course). im not looking absolutly stellar performance in editing , gaming, have desktop that, travel , general use. dont want 1 of people goes "well whats coming should wait that" because in computers never end. im in bit of conundrum, guys think should do?   also if possible can tell me gma 950 card far how video preview works fin...

okay im going lay down problem explian have tried. cool responces. problem have external program saves files path blaa/blaa/movies way in saves these movies compreses movies files 1 file in folder. eg puts different compents folder bundles them delates orginals. problem disc saving doesnt have enough room movies needs store. cant set location of store movies have try route them somewhere. first of when tried making alias folder on different disk program gave me message saying cant save file. thinking of thought make workflow gets items in folder movies them location. tested work flow , worked perfectly. problem getting automated when ever file made in directory. script came , attacheted vie folder actions doesnt work ??? wtf?? help? on adding folder items this_folder after receiving added_items tell application "macintosh hd:users:username:library:workflows:applications:folder actions:moviefile.app" open added_items end...
