Which iMac Should I Go For?

for 18th birthday i'll purchasing brand new imac. until yesterday had mind set on getting, 20" 2.4ghz imac upgraded hdd 500gb , applecare. student discount, cost me £1063.38.

however, yesterday walked comet store , saw 24" imac on display, amazed @ size difference , thinking of investing in 24" model. guess once you've seen bigger, else seems small. did think of going all-out , buying top-end model (24" 2.8ghz). however, set me £1,483.38, much.

as compromise, i'm thinking 24" 2.4ghz model upgraded hdd 500gb decent solution. that'd cost £1,251.38.

i have few questions still in mind though, want make sure don't regret decision:

• is there difference between 2.4ghz , 2.8ghz processors?
• i've read somewhere can't return imac if you've made customised purchase, true?
• are 20" screens less susceptible colour in-balance , dead pixels?

any other general recommendations appreciated

1. no not actual difference between 2.4ghz , 2.8ghz.. numbers!!! else same.
2. yea think u can return within 20days if dislike it.
3. each lcd screen technically last same time/work same. wouldnt worry that, not matter going love it.

personally, go 24', because amazingly big. screen size allows 2 safari windows, or word doc , else writing about. saves time switching.

either way going superhappy man.
