ok, know att/apple serious using iphone att , iphone account (new, 2 years. .forever). know many people have unlocked , of them using old, existing account iphones on att (perhaps had more attractive plan or didn't want sign 2 years). so, there has way att can detect device using on networks (t-mobile can) , decided iphone usage on non-iphone accounts. . .and shut them down (including business accounts) not following implied agreement.. .?
think happen soon. think apple/att have sort of 'amnesty' , unlocked iphones enable on straight , narrow.
i imagine not big deal them wont.
option 1 piss off thier subcriber may have been years, leaves , lose account.
option 2 $10 if person upgrades iphone account.
risk vs reward doesnt seem great. plus at&t doesn't have give apple cut of accounts not on iphone plan, may more profitable.
