What's the best way to sell my iPhone?

after few months i've decided 'go backwards' , revert old razr , nano.
can suggest best way sell iphone? if on ebay, can at&t customer buy phone, insert sim, , sign plan?
help.
 

well, moved , have no att coverage.

called att, , canceled contract no questions asked, although may have pay $175 deactivation fee.

havnt sold phone yet, acting did, no phone features working, let home screen.

im assuming once phone gets plugged computer doesnt have backup on it, ask activate phone.
