Posts removed??

i posted in mac office 2008 thread @ around 7:30 pdt morning, , it's gone, along few other posts others noticed aren't there anymore. thing is, didn't warned and/or otherwise notified said wrong. i'll admit, being anti-microsoft in reaction amount of money want office '08, didn't think extreme warrant post being removed. mod or whoever removed post tell me did wrong, avoid similar situation in future?
