I've lost my personal settings in OSX. help please.

my mbp crashed yesterday, , seem have lost of personal settings... while of these problems aren't bad, because think firefox works faster now, i'd restore had before. dock reverted when had first purchased computer. itunes library came corrupt (this had me worried until saw still had of music). if knows how recover old settings please let me know.
