So i formatted my mac...now what?

my macbook pro gets new hard drive today because decided crap week ago. havent been able sync iphone in long, , keep weekly backups of itunes folder (rsync, woohoo!).

question this: how re-sync going work? i'm running 1.1.1, , dont want loose contacts/notes/etc. information stored? screwed? should start writing down possible?

if you've got itunes folder backed up, i'd think you'd need restore that, open itunes finds library, plug iphone in. may want restore ~/library/itunes folder well. think you'd set. i'm not certain, haven't had this.

rsync style backup well, via script have displayed @ here. wonder if it's similar yours?
