Nikon D40x: Nikkor 70-300 VR or 55-200 VR?

i have nikon d40x, 18-55mm kit lens. lens, missing telephoto. have been using old 80-200mm dad, lack of auto-focus , vr makes not likeable me.

trying decide of these ones better. guess don't need focal length 70-300, have read has better optics , more sharp.

so, suggest?

also, nikkor 12-24mm f/4 , nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8? not planning on buying 1 of these right now, since expensive. maybe in near future i'll having 1 of these.

how noticeable image quality kit lens 17-35mm?

i haven't had experiences 70-300mm vr, has received excellent reviews. own 55-200mm vr , iq excellent. real gripe vignetting @ long end.

you, think comes down whether use money saved getting 55-200mm vr , whether portability factor sinc 70-300mm vr fair bit heavier , larger 55-200. if neither of these big factors you, go 70-300 due longer range, better build, , iq said little bit better. don't me wrong though, 55-200mm incredible bargain , iq excellent. can have @ of photos @ link in sig... i'm still pretty new photography, can idea of capabilities of 55-200 vr.

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...

New iMac here - LOVING the Mighty Mouse

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...
