How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice...

watching movies/divx/etc

macmini plugged hdtv. mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass.

itunes

direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms.

control of system problem

prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program:

also, if wanted touch screen control in bathroom, build wall. have experience doing this? can touch screen act mirrored monitor?
 

thats interesting, want possible not sure how touch screen work or how control music/video top floor. please apple tv on top floor , sync macmini, not aware of other hardware or software allow so.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?
