No Standard DC Adapter for the MacBook???

i'm working on putting solar powered solution macbook. more of hobby project anything, think great run macbook off of nothing solar power.

i've planned far use sunlinq 25 watt folding solar panel small charge controller , small 12v 4-5 amp/hr battery , feed dc adapter macbook.

problem apple not make dc adapter macbook other apple magsafe airline adapter apparently provides power run macbook, not charge battery , not compatible standard regular cigarette lighter outlet.

also, apple has not yet licensed "magsafe" connector else, no third parties provide dc adapter solutions macbook either.

able find 1 home built solution (mikegyver solution), rather expensive , hoping find little more reasonable.

know if apple has plans offer regular dc power adapter macbook? surprised apple not offer one. :confused:

realize solution go solar (dc) inverter (ac) , through standard magsafe adapter (dc again), solution inefficient , wastes energy.
 

all money save $2 month

ehhh, worth it?

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
