top of range dell laptop - xcs or ever call it... bro thinking of or mbp 17" bells , whistles...

asked advice on get, said mac, know better machines, pointed out can 512mb graphics card, , mbp comes 256mb...

wants gaming, he's p*ssed off windows , coming around idea of switching os x, , using parallels/boot camp can run windows , play games, , have luxury of os x , it's merits...

think?
 

the amount of video ram isn't important when go beyond 256 mb.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
