how check new ram installed

hi,

opened mb pro , installed 2x2gb of crucial ram, let me know check if it's installed okay? imagine is. otherwise machine wouldn't start up.

the first indicator if ram okay boot chime.

second item can check 'about mac' located in apple menu (apple icon upper left of screen). when click on 'about mac' window tell how memory have installed, further system information can gained clicking on 'more info'.

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
