Aperture Won't Load - Help!

last night when plugged memory card reader mac, started load aperture. late , trying done, didn't want aperture load, forced quit it. however, when click on aperture icon start program up, stalls on splash screen. please tell me didn't screw database.
 

try:

1) rebooting. people have reported fixing aperture issues

2) if doesn't work try moving aperture preferences file , starting aperture. file ~/library/preferences/com.apple.aperture.plist

3) if still not work start aperture option , command keys held down , rebuild library.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
