Am I excited, or what!

my son, junior in high school, turning 17 next month, taking computer science year. friday while out of town, text-messaged me tell me got 95 on first test, , had written first java program ("howdy world" - we're in texas ;) )

they're using jcreator under windows, , pretty had change text , click build , run, hey - it's easy entre without frustration of classpaths , running in command line turn off teenager.

have remember not overwhelm him concepts haven't been introduced him yet. but, knows i'm excited too, humors me some.

i've got 11-year-old son has shown interest in programming, hasn't taken class yet. got excited first night got visual studio setup , taught him how write for() loops in c#. heh. spent night writing new loops insult people repeatedly. ( /sigh ).

i'm excited see him middle/high school can take class , more useful loops. :) until then, i'll keep showing him stuff time time.

again, sweet, , congrats son nice exam performance.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
