what exactly is being backedup under itunes iphone backup?

was curious kind of stuff or files being backedup on iphone, when use option under itunes preferences?

lost sms, notes, google bookmarks, favorites, voicemail, alarm clocks, world clocks, widget settings, etc when had perform restore today. somehow when updated 1.0.2 phone froze in middle of updating firmware had pull plug , restar phone. could've caused it.

because when updated 1.0.1, had restore, stuff left alone... time gone...i'm guessing because of phone freezing in middle of firmware update caused me lose that. cause wouldn't happen.

can confirm this?
 

is iphone backup mac feature?

can't seem find in windows version.

nevermind it's right there under iphone tab in preferences.

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
