Question about VMWare, Windows and Sleep...

before shutting down windows laptop, applications must first shut, , shut down windows.

on mac laptop, close lid , goes sleep.

now...

let's you're using vmware on mbp, , windows running 1 application open. you're done using laptop day.

can close lid? or have close down windows app, shut down windows and/or vmware, then close lid?

or ???? :confused:
 

you can put windows computer sleep too, realize that? regardless though, can have vmware suspend machine, or can put computer sleep normally. won't hurt anything.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
