New Canon HV10 + Final Cut Express = $@&%!

help! total rookie @ this, , getting frustrated. in baghdad , bought nice new canon hv10 camera , copy of fce hd 3.5

can't figure out how video off camera , fce. it's killing me! don't understand these settings , formats. doing wrong?

saw camera isn't on fce qualified device list. did screw myself here? in advance.

did have problem hv-10 , sd-dv tape (see previous posts) , imovie
went apple reseller , plug camcoder work macpro/fce3.5 , without prior experience of fce did managed footage machine. don't think there wrong fce , hv-10 association

maybe have have read documentation or if you're lazy(as am) can go http://www.apple.com/finalcutexpress/ , have @ videos in quick tour, @ bottom of page.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
