MBP Sleeping Backwards

when put macbook pro sleep , shut lid, or shut lid, wakes after few moments while lid still shut. if open lid goes sleep. if close lid again it'll wake up. it's constructed wrong.

i've turned off motion sensing software, bluetooth , airport. thought perhaps waking 1 of those.

closest "genius bar" 2 hours away or i'd take in. i'm cs graduate student , in grad office stumped well. 2 other people have macbook pro 3,1s , don't have problem.

in advance: realize there other posts on subject; however, don't describe exact problem wherein mac goes sleep if open lid , wakes if shut again.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
