iDVD spitting DVD out

hi everyone,

spent yonkers putting dvd of recent holiday, , when went burn idvd prompted me insert blanc dvd, obliged spat out again. went , bought brand new blank dvd-r (+) it's doing exact same thing. it's strange because dvds appearing finder when insert them. i'm running idvd4 on 1.8ghz g5 powermac running 10.3. know problem be?
 

macs quite picky dvds they'll accept. make sure you're using right kind of disc. powermac doesn't accept dvd+r or dvd+rw discs, dvd-r or dvd-rws. it's possible that, since running 10.3, have older version of idvd doesn't understand dvd+r or dvd+rw discs, yet finder reads them fine.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
