hi, first of these forums have been great during decision switch apple, , thought id share story comfort struggling yellow screens.
read yellow bottom 1/3 issues decided take risk , macbook pro anyway. sadly ended lg screen had pretty bad yellowing. replaced 1 samsung screen , more yellowing (though more subtle). not wanting risk replacement defective units still out there, , reading tales of members here had sent laptops repair dodgy screen decided email steve jobs problem. got prompt reply executive relations europe , follow telephone call.
apologetic, said case had been discussed tech support , although couldn't known issue without examining unit, there had been problems screens. apparently have switched manufacturer or (probably not maybe new batches?) , there perfect screens out there. therefore offered me new unit, custom built , guaranteed check make sure had 1 of perfect screens on, , delivered door. got free hard drive upgrade thrown in, , courier pick old mbp!
overall therefore, if goes planned have been impressed apple's response.

couple of questions you:
1. when did order macbook pro , when did arrive?
2. emailed steve jobs? post said in email? wondering if such great email did because of that.
