propagating waves on 15" SR MBP

has else noticed this? - may same "flickering" definately think best describe problem "moving waves"

on tones of dark colours....usually grey, or instance when have pattern of, say, little squares arranged in grid on dark background (squares darker) 1 of favourite websites does.... notice propagating wave effect?

on website in question happens pattern is....the waves seem move inside out, on both sides of screen..so theyre travelling across screen , in opposite directions

when boot , have load osx , have dull grey/blue background.... waves moving top down, again more pronounced @ left/right hand sides , wears off toward bottom.

i've noticed couple more times on other sites , on dash board. increasing brightness full cures it.

it? mean have 2 cases here theyre moving in totally different directions. refresh rate issue?
 

sounds defect problem. take apple.

can't change refresh rate, optimized 60hz.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
