my situation....

i have small music library (8 gb) , big video library (260 gb)...and stored on 300 gb external hard drive (i have set if put in itunes goes straight external hd).....i going have external hd because library bigger but.....i don't fact content on external hd , if somehow crashes , dies loose , know cry if happened (not joking).....so buy external hd able back-up current amount , able hold 100 gb or so.....what guys reckon??? best set-up??? thinking 1 tb hd , back-up current 300 gb external onto , set new itunes stuff goes onto now.......any suggestions great....
 

do not mind losing new stuff, on 1tb drive?

if you're super worried data loss, ultimate solution kind of mirror raid system (forgive me, don't know ton it), there 2 identical drives written automatically...so don't have worry backing manually, or using program or anything. i'm pretty sure can these drives in external enclosure.

will, of course, correct me if i'm wrong.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
