iPhoto vs Aperture

i know aperture resource , memory hog, i'd know if there enough advantages has on new iphoto make me use it...
mean, there point having whole library in aperture?
gather there few more things can aperture, if need more editing on photos, can fire fireworks or photoshop...
persuasion keep aperture needed...
:)

aperture's utility focused directly @ workflow, professionals in mind. indicated, resource cost of program (particularly if allow default settings previews, slows things down bigtime), coupled relatively limited editing functionality make less satisfactory ps competitor (which isn't intended be)...

love aperture, if don't have workflow/volume or presentation requirements aperture tool designed for, you'll quite happy (and financially better off) using iphoto organization , editing software of choice (ps, gimp, fireworks, elements, whatever...).
