New iMac or Mac Pro ?

it's time upgrade set-up. i'm trying decide if should new imac bells , whistles can hold, or base line mac pro. if mac pro still have spend bit more purchase monitor. i'm thinking $800 price difference.

of graphic design , photo editing. on occasion record music , video edit, that's more of hobby.

excited new imac, i'm not sure glossy monitors. designers or photo editors out there run problems them? hate buy all-in-one unit imac , discover can't work screen. on flip side, has need @ decent price.

mac pro.

loads of expansion prospects, plus graphic card can hold own against pc world when upgrade default option.

refurb cheaper.

on personal note, have ever seen or used 24" monitor? big screen heaven.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
