iPhone has significant Audio issues / solutions?

i started thread earlier when had identified 1 issue iphone's audio.

iphone headjack:
apparently lot of standard headphones , 3.5mm line out cables won't work iphone headset jack. not because of headjack port rather because of narrow recession on case of iphone. recession narrow won't let male end of cable sit way down, not allowing use some(most?) standard headphones.

iphone pin connector:
haven't done lot of testing far, i've tried 2 devices allow ipod audio out through pin connector, , not work iphone. audio continues play through mini speakers; doesn't recognize accessories; charging.


if has information on work around, other info might please post it.
 

unfourtunatly headphone jack issue addressed apple during release. bad design? maybe. there no logical reason recess port far.

use of 30 pin connectors, apple did many accessories may work on port, not ipod may not. products carying made iphone logo ofcourse work.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
