Burning 2 .avi files into one DVD???

i bought program toast, , have 2 .avi files, , when tried burn them using dvd video option can see fine on dvd player, there no sound. doing wrong or think files messed up? there way merge 2 files make 1 file, or should able drag many files want in toast 1 dvd? appreciated, thanks.
 

i hate suggest pay software after fact, have used visualhub (pay) make dvd out of 2 .avis several times now, , used burn (free) after burn them...no issues. had issues toast, , i've quit using it.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
