Another Beginner Needs a Camera

i have been interested n photography, want give shot now. don;t have huge budget (the cheaper better), i'm looking versatile camera take clear shots.

guess p&s fine, if possible, i'd maybe have manual setting or 2 when little better.

also, can point me in direction of glossary fop different photography terms me? iso, raw, 25 seconds...i'm lost!

camera get, recommend dslr if want photography. still, there advanced p&s cameras.

read this article ken rockwell learn more differences between p&s , dslr cameras.

dslr side, maybe used one, or try getting 1 of low-end cameras new (which pretty good).
check ones out:
-canon rebel xt
-nikon d40
-pentax k100

3 excellent cameras.

depends in how "serious" want in photography. if know you'll it, dslr better option. if want taking photos sporadically, maybe p&s better you.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
