1. running emac (g4) in 10.3.9.... given copy of 10.4 upgrade.... did this... seemed successful.... modem (speedtouchusb 330) kept flashing red light..... after relentless search discovered needed upgrade driver modem... found one... installed.... still flashing red... ...ok... no problems, i'll restore (using restore disks arrived emac when new) 10.2 , try again... ...so, put in restore disk 10.2.... successful installation... came asking admin password.... ever use 1 password reason wouldn't accept it... no matter how many times tried re-starting, still asked admin password.... there 3 other users on particular emac , can log in passwords... not mine (admin)..... ideas, anyone? , part 2... when have got emac , running want run internet on on mac emac.... 2nd mac (g4) located in different room in house.... software/hardware/peripherals need this? please bear in mind technical knowledge limited when comes installation stuff, ...

okay, new mbp here , lovin far. breeze set , "just works" mentailty seems holding mbp better ipod. have question though garage band. trying use of pre-set tracks in making new set, , app says has download them through software update. when click on download option though, su comes up, checks , says current. try again in gb , says su downloading. so..i leave set few hours, come , restart thinking should plenty of time download (yes have high speed) track selections. still no go...what doing wrong?   i switched new imac , had same problem. several attempts download got nothing. turned out software instrument loops on dvds came mac. don't have front of me , can't recall steps think can garageband "download"/import dvds.   Forums Macs ...

i got new 24" imac , having problems bluetooth. have logitech bluetooth mouse , keyboard hooked via internal bluetooth in boot camp. mouse , keyboard work fine, reason when reboot or come out of standby keyboard doesn't automatically connect bluetooth. mouse works fine, keyboard have delete bluetooth list , add again everytime boot bootcamp. not using keyboard in osx. have same problem? i'm trying figure if keyboard of bluetooth drivers.   having same problem on 17" macbook pro running vista sp1 - bluetooth mouse not recognized after wake sleep or hibernation. what's weird working fine few months. recent windows update caused .... i've had create shortcut bluetooth driver installer boot camp , place on desktop can run easily. help. also, make sure batteries in mouse or keyboard aren't running low. i've found low batteries impact device discover...
