iPod touch blanking out!

this first ipod , first post in forum = noob. i've been lurking around forum ever since ordered ipod @ end of sept. super excited when got monday oct 1st. lucky , got week 38 , when first got did tests on , got pretty results. nice contrast , resolutions. horror: blanked out! first time when first synched it.

happens: screen turns white thin colored lines kinda moving here , there. tried pressing sleep button turn off on again , white screen colored lines still there! turned off few minutes , normal. first time used it! did 1.1.1 update , screen still fine (contrast/colors-wise) , thought screen problem gone... until today (day 3).

on train listening music when blanked out again. pressed sleeping button didn't turn off! after minute turned off turned on again still white screen colored lines! there way fix this? took camera phone , recorded on phone happened on screen of ipod. if go apple store think they'll exchange me? can't make blank screen appear, appears randomly!

edit: doesn't have apple logo, white colored lines. music continues playing after goes blank , none of buttons work!

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
