Installing Panther on a Tiger-only PowerBook

g'day fellow mac aficionados,

in a bit of quagmire. have beautiful g4 1.67ghz powerbook (the 1 released in oct. 2005) , came no system. have no tiger disc , i'll buggered if going pay $150 or more new tiger disc when leopard out in less 2 months. i'm writing @ moment on macbook, and, know, discs won't work on powerbook. but, have genuine panther 10.3.5 install discs. hate see them go waste excellent, fast os. think there's workaround install panther on powerbook, can't find it, if indeed possible. sigh. thus, quagmire. smart cookie (or doughnut matter!) know way out?

heaps, have great day,

matt (and cranky cat)
