GVD200 Sony digital8 walkman- is anyone using one?

hi,

wondering if using gvd200 transferring digital8/hi8/8mm tapes?

using camcorders, they've started die on me , digital8 camcorders becoming increasingly harder find (especially ones playback older formats), think way go.

feedback?

you're assuming deck built better cameras.

suspect take same digital8 mechanism (or minidv, case may be) , drop square box screen opposed camcorder. , pay hundreds more.

buy digital8 camcorder (or 2 or 3 if you're worried -- you'd still come out ahead of deck).

mine has had no problems, keep thinking 1 day going transfer d8's mini dv or capture hard drive (and burn footage onto compressed dvd, i.e. better nothing should happen tapes).

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
