Random iPhone Blackout? Any suggestions?

hello all. reason iphone blacked out 5 mintues before "coming grave". before begin, know this:

- iphone not hacked, never has been either
- using itunes 10.4.0 can free ringtones (not hack really)
- launch day iphone
- iphone battery @ 70%
- sim still locked att

ok, here's whats up. plugged iphone laptop (windows xp dell inspiron 9300, yeah know, switching in january). i've never had problem before, docked many times, added songs, swapped out movies , podcasts, pictures, etc. no problems.

decide plug in real quick see if new update out morning, , believe heard xp pnp connect sound normal. noticed screen went out instead of showing charging icon normal. go click top button, home button, nothing. undock phone without noting if itunes recognized or not. try holding top button power on: nothing. try holding 10 seconds, nothing. try holding different button combos reset home , sleep button, nothing. try test see if screen went out , power still on: flip ringer switch silent makes vibrate, , nothing. dead. try redocking it, nothing. computer doesn't pick up. try plugging wall thinking battery dead, nothing. i'm starting freak out. unplug 1 last time computer, while still in dock unplugged, hit top button , apple logo appears!

don't know why reason died 5 mintues. checked battery life when woke , @ 70%. i've had iphone since launch , never had problem this. guys think be? short circuit? should call apple @ or see if happens again? i'm scared death try redock now. in advance help.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
