Powered USB Hub Suggestions...

so have macbook (only 2 usb ports) many usb peripherals. these include keyboard, mouse, external hd , midi keyboard need plugged in of time ideally, exception of midi keyboard suppose.

anyway, when plug external hd macbook, have plug in secondary cable has enough power, uses 2 usb ports , quite annoying. powered usb hub solve issue?

lastly, recommend me couple of hubs, have searched around there's sea of them , i'd go through recommendation honest.

has 4 ports, , it, cables go out back. power cable , usb cable connects computer, have 90 degree connectors on them , attach sides of hub. 4 ports along edge of hub. it's great if want cables routed behind hub cleaner appearance.

i'm using hub macbook, , have connected: eyetv ez (tv tuner), kodak camera dock, ipod dock, , 1 external hdd. haven't had problems hub or of devices causing macbook wake sleep, either.

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
