FileVault On Certin Directories

is possible encrypt directories? of data needs encrypted on laptop pretty in 1 or 2 directories. not want encrypt entire home directory, directory.

also, there way share encrypted file systems between windows , mac? mean ability send windows (or linux) user encrypted image , have them able open password. keep company data in truecrypt images now, if there cross platform great.

the "poor man's" version of create password protected disk image (using disk utility) , store files want protected in there. make sure not save password in keychain, , files reasonably protected. assuming use strong password.

exchanging files, not sure advanced methods, create password protected zip file? how stringent protection requirements?

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
