RAM Question for New iMac 24"

i have few different choices , need deciding.

option #1 - keep apple ram @ 1gb (not option really)

option #2 - can 1x2gb ocz memory fry's $129 pushes 3gb (pc5300)

option #3 - can 2x2gb ocw memory ocw $269 pushes 4gb (pc5300)

not play games , wondering if difference between 4gb paired , 3gb not paired have big difference.

simple excel, word, iweb, idvd (eventually), safari, handbrake, slingbox.
 

they more ram better, , if money isn't issue can go 4gb , still have 1gb stick sell on. have read jump 3gb 4gb won't make of difference low usage users or i. (didn't stop buying 4gb of ram though:d). if applications ones going use , aren't going run them @ same time. definately advise buying 2gb stick , upgrading ram 3gb. anymore may waste of money , spent increase hard disk space or processor speed.

i have mbp, , talked wife getting imac after dell (she loathed machine, made sell easy) crapped bed. when deciding on bluetooth mouse mbp, passed on mighty mouse wireles becasue of review here seemed negative. ordered corded version imac came friday. long story short, have been using mm , found quite enjoyable! in fact prefer logitech v220 im using now. found out have tendency lift left finger off botton when using normal 2 button mouse. made use of mm natural me. absolute best part of mm freaking scroll ball. orgasmic use!! l o v e mechanical smoothness , feel of ball in motion. using app steermouse able fine tune puppy perfect. on fence mm, let me assure pretty awesome, , person ultra picky point of ocd mice.   good review! imac prepared shipping, should coming in few days. i'm going using standard wired mm comes it, positive feedback on it. worried going horrible,...

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
