login keychain for account (with blank password) is not blank?

hey guys,

trying fix friend's macbook had funny file corruption error not fixed disk utility, fsck seems abort during process of rebuilding tree time , leave file system in bad state.

thankfully still accept /user folders when computer connected in tdm , managed copy out in before wiped , reinstalled disk.

thing when os x reinstalled, not use user profile migration wizard, no worries, made account old 1 , copied over.

sort of works, except login.keychain busted, prompts password when never had password account.

else there try? supposed know mystery password tied old installation of os x?
 

i think that's normal when manually transfer accounts. same thing happens if change account's short name (properly). accept sort of password though? go away if give blank password?

on note, if disk utility wasn't able repair drive earlier i'm guessing reformatted before reinstalling. it's unrelated keychain problem, have verified drive again? i'm not sure i'd relying on drive holding important.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
