WinXP via BootCamp: Mac OS + WinXp backup issues

greetings,
trust topic has been addressed or @ least suggested before. need summation!
have mbp mac osx latest version + winxp thru bootcamp. purchasing usb/fw external drive archiving, backup , space (i have 160gb drive partitioned 50/50 between 2 oss).

re: formatting ext hd: feasible/technically possible to, say, format half/half macos native file format , win ntfs (note: win bootcamp partition formated ntfs)? know mac os can format in fat32, not in ntfs.

if possible, tools use? mac disk utility probaly formats in far32. , recall fat32 limits size of paritions 32gbs (my new ext drive 300gb - i'd see 1/2 mac native file system, 1/2 win ntfs.

Mini-DVI to DVI-I?

How to best wire an entire house mac...(I want a touch screen in my bathroom)

so here's basic idea- have 2 floor apartment , want have total access media @ times. here thoughts on want , how i'm guess done, need advice... watching movies/divx/etc macmini plugged hdtv . mini serve primary machine in apartment. stream videos external hd bay connected airport extreme. control of machine wireless computer concealed tinted glass. itunes direct connection macmini surround receiver first floor. itunes stream airport express base stations upstairs , on terrace, including bathrooms. control of system problem prefer keep on primary machine downstairs, interested in 2 things. if wanted change music playing, don't want have go downstairs, nor want have separate machine control upstairs. investigating touch screens, or using macbook when upstairs or on terrace. there way gain control of macmini on network using different machines in house? program: http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-us/products/synchron...
